What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packager position at Aerotek?
Description:
In this role, we need an individual that can work under direct but limited supervision and ensure that orders ship according to their requirements.
- Report any discrepancies in Production Orders to Manufacturing Manager or Final Inspection.
- Update and maintain procedures as needed.
- Responsible for order verification and packing orders per packing list instructions.
- Closing of Mechanical and Electronic Production Orders.
- Identify specific packaging instructions and document those instructions as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining proper levels of packaging supplies at workstations, such as tape, labels, markers,
- boxes, bags, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining product count accuracy.
- Scan Production Order label and tote to ensure proper induction into the storage system.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must Haves:
?A high school diploma or equivalent is required
?At least 6 months of experience working in a warehouse
?Proficient computer skills
?Strong attention to detail
?Able to read an order sheet to pull orders
?Lift up to 50 lbs when needed
Nice to Haves:
?Forklift Experience
?Experience with UPS or Fedex that is a plus.
