What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Clerk position at Aerotek?
Description:
- Seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire order process from negotiating prices, selecting the best suppliers, and seeing it through completely.
- Determining appropriate, qualified suppliers for a large variety of manufacturers and circumstances.
- Ensuring that all proper costs, resale values, exchange commitments etc. are administrated on all Purchase and Repair Orders as well as all Best Practices are followed.
- Help to maintain proper inventory levels on all stocking items.
- Assist fellow team members in any ways needed, as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in aviation purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management is preferred but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in aviation maintenance software, strong Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience also preferred.
