What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor position at Aerotek?
Duties can include:
Supervision of 30 - 70 production employees (machine operators and general labor workers)
Training, coaching, and evaluating your employees
Planning, assigning, and directing work duties
Direct the conversion of raw materials to finished products with minimum waste and labor cost
Monitor proper inventory rotation of raw materials and packaging
Responsible for maintaining a 5S environment
Scheduling, maintaining and approving production employee's work hours on a daily basis
Review production orders or schedules such as types, quantities, and specifications of products
Plan production operations, setting priorities and sequences for manufacturing products
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) at all times
Ability to:
Work in a fast-paced environment, while being able to make sound decisions
Read and interpret documents like safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Respond to inquiries and complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, employees and members of the business community
Shifts Available:
1st Shift (6:00am - 2:30pm)
2nd Shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm)
3rd Shift (10:00pm - 6:30am)
