What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at Aerotek?
Description:
The Service Tech will have the following responsibilities:
- This person will be responsible for providing service and repair to commercial cleaning equipment
- 60% travel and 40% in house working in their service dept to fix the equipment.
-All the travel will be no more than 50 miles and will be home every night. They will be traveling to schools (schools will be vacant - no students) and hospitals to service floor scrubbers, vacuums, buffers and other janitorial equipment
- They will be interacting with customers and answering service calls
-Will repair equipment brought back to the facility to get repaired and they will be using hand tools to repair- screw driver, automatic drill, hammer, socket wrenches, etc.
- Will not be interacting with employees and attendees of any of the schools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVES:
- 2 yrs of a recent mechanical job (Ex. car mechanic, maintenance tech, etc.)
- Ability to take something apart and put it back together
- Ability to use hand tools (screw driver, socket wrench, drill, etc.)
- Good customer service and professional/presentable
- HS Diploma or GED
NICE to HAVES:
- Service tech exp or someone that has worked on janitorial equipment
- Ability to Solve Problems
