What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vehicle Assembler position at Aerotek?
Description: The Mechanical Assembler will be building and assembling large industrial printers.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
*Assemble mechanical and pneumatic components into sub-assemblies across multiple models inside of their respective product lines
*Will perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting the sub-assemblies prior to releasing to final assembly
*Assemble various components into mechanical sub-assemblies per engineering drawings, schematics and diagrams
*May prepare the following forms: material request, material return to stock etc
Skills:
Auto Mechanic, Blueprint, Schematic, Manufacture, Pneumatic, Build, Repair, Mechanical Assembly, Heavy Equipment Asssembly, Final Assembly, Power tool, Hand tool, Assembly, Mechanical, Blueprint
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
*Minimum 1 year mechanical assembly experience or experience assembling heavy industrial equipment
*Ability and experience reading diagrams and/or schematic
*Experience working with pneumatic components
*Auto mechanic experience is a plus
*Inspect parts with micrometers, hole test gauges, calipers, thread and plug gauges, indicators, telescoping depth gauges, etc.
*Troubleshooting experience with high attention to detail
*Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment
