AES is a Pennsylvania Corporation founded in 1986 with corporate headquarters in Montgomeryville, PA and a Manufacturing facility located in Suwanee, GA. AES designs, manufactures and builds modular cleanrooms and custom cleanroom equipment for a variety of manufacturing facilities to include pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences and technology industries in compliance with various regulatory standards.
The position of Regional Sales Executive is responsible for the complex sales activity within an assigned sales region. This individual will be a trusted resource for existing and future clients and partners and is focused on delivering solutions for end user companies that utilize clean manufacturing environments within the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries (not B2B pharmaceutical product sales). This sales professional is responsible for executing a territory sales plan and managing business development activities to deliver territory business growth goals and to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities of this role:
· Conceptualize, initiate and support client relationship building activities and other activities that will build your client base and grow top line revenue.
· Develops specific objectives and strategies to maintain an overall effective territory business development program. Within the assigned territory, secures profitable work necessary to achieve the territory and corporate growth goals.
· Actively manage the customer relationship during all phases of the sales cycle and ultimately through the life cycle of the clean room.
· Builds and fosters effective relationships with primary clients, A&E firms, CM firms, subcontractors, vendors, etc. within the division/region to leverage business opportunities.
· Directs and supervises the development of major proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
· Provides leadership of all project development functions; including business development, marketing, estimating, and preconstruction services. Provides direction and stays active as necessary in the proposal and estimating review process, including “closing the sale”. Assists in final contract negotiations with clients as necessary.
· Actively uses the Customer Resource Management (CRM) tools to effectively manage accounts, opportunities, pipeline, and sales activities. Maintains the CRM with up-to-date and accurate information.
· Reviews proposals with clients in order to properly position AES as the desired solution for the project. Coordinate AES team (e.g. engineering, estimating, construction, etc.) as needed to close the sale.
· Track and provide monthly updates detailing business development activity and successes (win/loss ratios, referrals, return on networking investments, upcoming activities).
· Ensures consistency of processes throughout the estimating and preconstruction functions, with a significant focus on quality control and accuracy.
· Participate in networking opportunities to directly generate new business opportunities for the firm.
What it takes:
· Proven experience managing complex sales from start to finish.
· 10 or more years managing project development functions within the construction or pharmaceutical industry.
· Experience in at least 2 of the following: mechanical design, preconstruction services, estimating, business development, or project management.
· Experience identifying sales targets, building pipelines, and forecasting sales.
· Ability to manage internal and external complex multi-threaded relationships that enable the team to bring deals to close.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
