We are hiring dog-loving Retail Sales Associates to join our team at Aeslin Pup Hub. We are seeking amazing, positive, and visionary staff that are eager to join a rapidly growing company! We have three locations across Chicago. We offer a multitude of services from our doggie daycare, overnight boarding, and pet retail store.

Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities:
- Inform customers about food, chew, and treat products that will benefit their pup based on dietary needs
- Engage the customer to figure out what toy best fits their dog's and cat's play style
- Educate customers about our daycare services
- Answer questions from new and experienced dog parents
- Answer phone calls
- Answer emails
- Receive inventory upon delivery
- Set up new merchandise displays for new products
- Utilize the existing POS system to track inventory
- Keep track of damaged items, order shortages, and returned items
- Compare order invoice with the order received
- Collaborate with other retail team members to determine what products are missing or damaged
- Assist with revamping already existing sale displays
- Organize samples and restock shelves with stored inventory
- Maintain the cleanliness of the retail area through dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and reorganizing to ensure a consistently clean and organized experience for every customer and pet, no matter what time or day they enter our store
- Grow and become part of our family by helping to shape continue to and mold and build our brand and company
Requirements:
- Experience with dogs preferred, but not required
- Retail Experience required
- Ability to communicate well with others--really well. We want our customers to know we value them
- A strong work ethic is a must. This is shown in your self-respect and respect for others. We never use the phrase "that's not my job" at our company. We all work together!
- Ability to self-manage. We are NOT a company that believes in micro-managing. We believe in ongoing training for employees but also empowering our staff by giving them the ability to make choices on their own and self-manage.
- Punctuality! We have dogs, dog owners, and employees who rely on us and must always know they can count on us to be there for them.
