Our providers, under the direction of Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Kimball Crofts, MD, take an individualized approach when evaluating patients to create customized treatment plans tailored to the patient’s goals.
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional looking to shine in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility is to assist the Nurse Practitioner/providers with patient and client visits
- Deliver the highest level of patient care and satisfaction
- Prepare and breakdown treatment rooms before and after appointment
- Prepares patient in treatment room. Keeps rooms clean and stocked. Ordering of supplies
- Schedule initial and follow-up appointments
- Answer phones and return phone calls
- Patient Calls and Follow-ups
- Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Understand and observe legal concepts (e.g. HIPAA, confidentiality).
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certificate
- Medical assistant experience with viable references
- Interest in Aesthetics
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Integrity, honesty
- Punctuality
- Strong work ethic
- Cheerful, people skills even with difficult patients
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Understanding of safety precautions and infection control procedures
Skills/Abilities:
- Proper grammar and spelling abilities
- Good communication skills
- Exhibit excellent listening skills.
- Positive interpersonal skills and sensitivity
- Able to use related medical equipment, instruments, and computers
- Previous experience preferred, but we will train the right person
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
