What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronics Technician III position at AEVEX Aerospace?
Essential Functions:
- As the Electronic Technician III you must be able to troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues related to the MQ-9.
- You will perform pre, post and thru flight inspections of Ground Control Stations and related ground flight equipment.
- Incorporates any approved configuration changes and other modifications into all aircraft as needed per company approved and/or government technical order requirement
- You will perform troubleshooting and repairs of ground and airborne electronic equipment.
- You will perform inspections, preventative maintenance, installation, configuration, operation, test and repair of various technical systems in accordance with established operating procedures to ensure safety of flight.
- Certifies aircraft Forms (AF FORM 781 series) that aircraft are in a condition safe for flight.
- Assists in the testing, maintenance and operation of ground equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Minimum 5 years of MQ-9 experience
- Minimum 5 years of USAF experience
- Proficient with USAF Technical Orders
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees and both military and civilian customers
- Must be willing to travel
- Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
- Active Secret Clearance preferred
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the level of clearance required
- U.S. Citizenship is required
