Staffing Coordinator Expectations:
- Adequately staffs the facility's nursing units according to facility procedures and policies.
- Obtain weekly visit count and report results to the Clinical Manager.
- Manages staff coverage for scheduled and unscheduled absences.
- Coordinates with the HR/PR coordinator to ensure appropriate time records are kept.
- Generates a master schedule, staffs according to budgeted hours per patient day and budgeted staffing ratio.
- Assists with clerical duties of nursing department including filing and making copies of referral sheets for Payroll/ Billing Manager.
- Assists in the scheduling of new employees.
- Makes out daily schedules for the nursing department. Advises management of scheduling/staffing changes.

Requirements:
- Good typing and mathematics skills.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination or exemption
- Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees' needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing requirements are met for the facility.
- STNAhome health background, preferred.
