AEYON POSITION TITLE: Graphic Artist
LOCATION: Remote
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Graphic Artist is responsible for graphic design and development including the creation and output of professional, visually impactful presentations using predominately Adobe Creative Suite.
Key responsibilities include the formatting and finalization of qualification documents, proposals, presentations, and other documents as required by Proposal Managers, Capture Managers, or senior management. Works closely with colleagues, management, and team members to turn conceptual or written content into visually appealing, clear presentations, infographics and process diagrams, and documents.
Must have strong infographic and map design capabilities, as well as be competent in graphic and layout design for a variety of platforms including Illustrator, InDesign, Word, and PowerPoint. Must have the ability to work to strict deadlines, effectively communicate with colleagues, schedule/complete multiple tasks, and be flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
This position will work within the Capture & Proposal Team, report to the Director of Capture & Proposals, and work closely with the executive management and senior staff in defining and creating graphics for winning proposals.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produces and / or coordinates the production of a variety of graphics products using a combination of methods, techniques, software, and processes, including PowerPoint, InDesign, Word, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Works with subject matter experts and writers to develop highly complex, technical graphics for proposals and other documents.
- Review technical requirements for creative deliverables, establish visual hierarchy of information in each graphic to ensure the audience understands the information and message, and delivers consistency within documents
- Oversees development of concepts and design templates appropriate to each document and compliant with customer requirements
- Manages the flow and work control of graphics throughout the proposal process, ensuring that approved changes are incorporated and version control is maintained.
- Develop and produce templates for oral presentations and proposal documents, maintain accuracy and technical compliance, as well as visual appeal.
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud, including Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communicator who is able to present key messages in a visual format and translate ideas into practice

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years federal proposal graphic development experience
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communicator - both written and oral
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel
- A team player with an outstanding ability to work with people at all levels, including senior executives
- Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate ideas to others, from staff to senior leaders through a resilient presence, thoughtful challenges, and use of sound judgment
