JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Aeyon Principal Data Scientist, working with the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO), is responsible for defining the future vision, planning, and execution of the Aeyon Data and Analytics Center of Excellence (DACOE). This includes the development of Technology objectives, vision, long-range and strategy plans, and identification of the organization's strengths and weaknesses.
The chief analytics officer oversees the analytics function, including data analytics and data science. The role sets strategic priorities for the function and identifies new business opportunities based on data.
The Aeyon Principal Data Scientist, collaborating with the Aeyon Executive leadership, will drive business transformation with data insights that require close collaboration with the business and IT to understand needs, generate business value, and communicate results.
- Partner with business and service sector leaders to help solve Aeyon client’s most difficult challenges, transform mindsets, unlock capabilities, and map the path to the next normal.
- Develop compelling insights and recommendations through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Manage and implement the planning process for CTO strategic initiatives in collaboration with the various teams within CTO Org, corporate strategy, and other senior leadership.
- Manages proper tracking, reporting, and communication of the operational plan that stems from the DACOE strategic plan; as well as key technology and application initiatives to senior management.
- Design, lead and implement special projects on key initiatives through collaboration with the CTO and the Senior Executive leadership team.
- Driving the technology vision and strategic pillars - fostering the spirit of people development, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Creating and monitoring strategic metrics to support the assessment of progress against the Data and Analytics Strategy, Vision, and overall Technology Operations.
- Collaborate and consult with project managers, solution architects, and Aeyon delivery teams, to design and implement data strategies across the end-to-end lifecycle, including data governance, management, data ingestion and preparation, analysis and modeling, and model deployment, monitoring, and documentation.
- Maintain current knowledge of the AI technology landscape and emerging developments
- Apply a variety of analytical techniques to tackle customer challenges including data mining, statistical models, predictive analytics, optimization, natural language processing, risk analysis, and data visualization.
- Follow analytic development life cycle and agile practices.
- Contribute to the development, test and evaluation, and demonstration of advanced analytic capabilities.
- Support the creation of client proposals and public whitepapers.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Secret, TS/SCI eligible
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Mandatory: Master’s degree preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, and Mathematics.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 10-15 years of industry experience in applying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related technical discipline. Experience working with the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. government on areas concerning national security, business operations, strategy, and government efficacy.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
