Packaging Production Helper
1st Shift
$2,500 Signing Bonus!*
AFC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Helper to join our Packaging team! The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and packaging products manually, ensuring quality and efficiency in our production process. This is great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door for manufacturing!
Responsibilities
- Make boxes, stack boxes on pallets
- Remove full pallets, bring in new pallets
- Sort boxes when needed
- Assist with quality checks
- Pick up product off the end of the bagger machine
- Count finished paper bag product and fasten together in bundle
- Pack each bundle of bags in a box and place on pallet
- Place date stamp and label on the boxes
- Perform general housekeeping such as sweeping and mopping work area
- Adhere to safety regulations, promote a safe work culture, and maintain a clean and organized work area
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Requirements
- No experience is required; entry-level position; some working knowledge of manufacturing is helpful.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

*Signing Bonus is for direct hires only; it does not include current employees, re-hires or workers assigned/referred through a staffing agency. The signing bonus does not apply to seasonal workers or Interns. Bonus is paid as follows for employees working 34 or more hours per week: $500 after 30 days of employment, $1,000 after 90 days, $1,000 after 180 days; for employees working 28-33 hours per week: $375 after 30 days of employment, $750 after 90 days, $750 after 180 days; for employees working 20-27hours per week: $250 after 30 days of employment, $500 after 90 days, $500 after 180 days for employees working less than 20 hours per week: $125 after 30 days of employment, $250 after 90 days, $250 after 180 days.
