Job Description:
As a Project Manager at AFCO Performance Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of manufacturing projects. You will work closely with engineering, production, and marketing teams to prioritize projects, develop high-level project plans, remove roadblocks, and ensure projects are completed within budget & on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Prioritization: Collaborate with senior management to prioritize manufacturing projects based on business goals, resource availability, and market demands.
- High-Level Project Planning: Develop high-level project plans that outline project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and marketing teams to coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities to ensure projects remain within budget.
- Timeline Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, proactively identifying and addressing potential delays to meet project deadlines.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential project roadblocks and risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed quality standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project issues and obstacles, making decisions that support project objectives.
