What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pit Manger position at Affinity Gaming?
PIT MANAGER.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safeguard assets of the company.
- Assist with Casino Shift Manager responsibilities as directed by management.
- May assume games or craps box supervisor’s duties while in the pit area.
- Handle customer complaints, referring to the Casino Shift Manager, those that are difficult.
- Ensure compliance with Federal currency reporting requirements.
- Project a friendly attitude towards our guests.
- Assure adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
- Protect games according to the casino rules and state gaming regulations.
- Maintain the spirit of teamwork and cooperation with all dealers.
- Ensure that the games have bank rolls appropriate to game limit and play.
- Regularly examine the dice, cards, and equipment and replace when worn, in doubt or on a regular basis.
- Observe dealers performances and when necessary take appropriate action.
- Ensure that any and all information is passed to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain all paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise Games Supervisor as referenced in the table games department organization chart.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Must be at least 21 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have gaming knowledge and supervising of all table games. Must have knowledge of casino rules, internal controls, strong organizational, communication and supervisory skills. Excellent customer service and employee skills are essential. Must adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
