BTC Electronic Components, Inc., is a value-add distributor of connectors and manufacturer of custom harness and cable assemblies. BTC Electronic delivers products to customers that meet established regulations, standards and specifications primarily for the aerospace and defense industries.
We are looking for a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for all aspects of accounting duties within our organizations. The Senior Accountant's responsibilities will include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate accounting functions and programs
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general accounts
- Assisting with annual audit preparation
- Preparing and consolidating Daily Flash reports
- Preparing 13 Week Cash Flow Forecast
- Month end close – posting Journal entries, AP/AR
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Supporting Audit and Due diligence paperwork
- Month End reporting – Commentary on Financials and preparing Financial statements for Bank reporting
- Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies and issues of non-compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- 4-6 years experience in Accounting
- Excellent analytical, organizational, time-management skills and execution
- ERP – Quantum, Axiom, and EPDS
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Illustrate the ability to meet deadlines
- Intermediate Excel Skills (SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
- Ability to be detailed-oriented and perform in-depth Technical/Professional research
- Team player and ability to motivate the team members
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
