What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Auditor position at AFL?
The Quality Auditor will be responsible for attending/auditing telecommunication sites (Central Office) where they will ensure completed builds (both upgrades and new installations, active and passive elements) have been installed/constructed in accordance with the site design and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Applies both Customer and Industry Standards / Practices, understands documentation of the
National Electric Code, and other industry standard documents.
- Ensures engineering specification, assignments, and job drawings are in accordance with
specifications and that proper documentation is provided.
- Audits installation workmanship to ensure accuracy.
- Develops a list of variances for correction and verifies completed corrections per company standards.

Qualifications
- High School plus specialized training.
- 3-5 years’ experience as an auditor in Telecommunications, specifically in a Central Office environment.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other software applications.
- Valid US Driver's License
- Knowledge of Telecommunications equipment installation.
- Knowledge of equipment installation, detail engineering, Telcordia standards
