Contract: 12 weeks with possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $50-$60/hr
Work Schedule: 40hrs/week
Shift: 8H Rotating

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients’ internal organs and tissues.
- Appropriately positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
- Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
- Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
- Correctly interpreting doctors' written scanning instructions.
- Administering radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
- Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
- Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be ARRT registered or registry eligible and registered by the applicable State.
- Prior radiology experience preferred.
- May be requested to travel within the region. When assigned to travel, a valid drivers license and proof of insurance will be submitted to manager prior to travel.
- Must have a general working knowledge of computers and department specific software (i.e. Healthstream, internet, etc.)
- Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
- Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of our client
