What are the responsibilities and job description for the Robot Programmer position at AG Innovation?
AG innovation has an immediate job opening for a Robot programmer who is looking for a long-term and exciting career opportunity with considerable growth. AG is looking for highly motivated and experienced individuals with the integrity and drive to be part of an active team. Our recent growth has necessitated the need for additional personnel.
This is a Technical hands on position which involves setting up and programming the robots in our shop and integrating them into productions facilities once the job is complete. Applicants will be required to provide automation support when necessary at the time of installation.
Individuals must be reliable, hardworking, and have minimum of 3 years’ experience in the trade or co-op program
Requirements/Qualifications for Robot programmers:
- Commission equipment on the manufacturing floor and follow equipment to the customer’s facility which includes start-up, debug, and assist in customer buy off of equipment support system launch at the customer facility.
- Applicants must be able to download Offline programs
- Applicants must be able to set up robot I/O, communication with the plc and other equipment.
- applicants must be able to debug in full auto cycle with PLC And troubleshooting along with the ability to reduce cycle time and throughput improvement.
- Applicants must be able to set up TCP verification, payload and robot mastering.
- Knowledgable in one or more of the popular robot brands (Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, Nachi, etc)
- Robotic guided vision
- Keeping updated on new field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Candidates must have effective communication between electricians, machine builders, controls engineers, and management to keep flow of project maintained.
- Willingness to learn and train on new systems. Candidate should also enjoy robotic programming because it is an essential function of the role.
- Good attitude, team player, able to work independently, and willing to go the extra mile.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Ability to work in team environments.
- Must be able and willing to travel and work on or off shift.
- Must display excellent attendance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
