Nevada County is seeking an Agricultural Technician for the Environmental Health department. This is a temporary position that will assist the Vector Control surveillance team in monitoring and responding to vector-borne diseases.

Sick Leave:
Temporary County employees shall accrue at the rate of one (1) hour of sick leave for each thirty (30) hours worked. Temporary County employees can accrue a maximum of 80 hours of sick leave which may be carried over from one fiscal year to the next.

- Coordinate and operate the mosquito fish giveaway events.
- Provide basic information on the Vector Control program to inquiries from the public.
- Prepares reports of inspections, tests, investigations and other activities.
