Position Summary
Responsible for administering and providing support to the livestock program. This position will work professionally and collaboratively with agents, team members and other functional departments in support of daily livestock duties and strategic initiatives.

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
Ability to stand or sit constantly/continuously.
Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
Environmental Conditions
The work environment described here are meant to be representative of those an employee would normally encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
The physical environment requires the employee to work inside where there are limited extremes to heat and/or cold; moderate noise; a normal office environment.

Job Description
Position Summary
Responsible for administering and providing support to the livestock program. This position will work professionally and collaboratively with agents, team members and other functional departments in support of daily livestock duties and strategic initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Timely process livestock applications, endorsements and other policy required documents.
- Proof and review policy information and applies applicable program and company procedure.
- Review, analyze and correct Data Acceptance System (eDAS) and Policy Acceptance and Storage System (PASS) errors.
- Partner with licensing and training to ensure agent compliance.
- Prepare and maintain policy related correspondence to the agents and producers.
- Prepare claim paperwork upon the release of actual ending values from the Risk Management Agency (RMA).
- Attend meetings designed to highlight updates as it pertains to livestock and/or other important policies.
- Assist in the technology development of the livestock program (program testing, strategizing, determining functionalities, etc.).
- Effectively answer internal and external questions and requests from key stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Must have previous crop insurance, agriculture business, or related education experience
- In-depth understanding of the technical and operational requirements of Crop Insurance programs
- Ability to think critically, is proactive and a self-starter
- Ability to learn and understand what information is needed to process insurance policies, FCIC rules and regulations, policy provision, etc.
- Ability to understand printed policy information, such as manuals, handbooks, and actuarial documents and to apply information to work tasks.
- Basic keyboarding skills, ten-key skills, and the ability to rapidly and accurately enter information into the computer.
- Ability to comprehend agent questions and concerns over the telephone and to provide correct, courteous answers.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to effectively communicate and maintain business relationships with company personnel, outside resources and customers.
- Ability to learn and apply company terminology, processes, and systems.
- Ability to perform basic and complex mathematical calculations.
- Ability to work well with people in a team environment.
- Ability to work from oral and written communications.
- Ability to assist in other work-related areas as required.
