In this role, you'll be the one defining the overall scope of work and designing new solutions for various projects, covering everything from concepts and budgeting to risk analysis and commissioning. Your responsibilities include managing financial accounts, serving as the liaison between clients and contractors, and facilitating meetings at all levels for project proposals. You'll need to establish strong relationships with vendors/suppliers and ensure projects are on schedule. ABOUT YOU: You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or chemical) or a relevant science. A Project Management certificate or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred. You bring 2-3 years of experience within a manufacturing environment (preferred) and at least 5 years of experience with engineering systems design (preferred), preferably in a dairy processing environment. You're mechanically and technically inclined. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD is preferred. Your established project management skills enable you to lead multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities. You're adept at rapidly assessing, analyzing, and resolving complicated problems with little initial information or direction, even in ambiguous situations. Your leadership, interpersonal communication, and self-management skills make you comfortable working collaboratively with all levels of plant personnel, even with minimal supervision.
