CHILDREN’S MINISTRY PASTOR

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Pastor for the Children's Ministry to join our church and provide spiritual guidance and leadership to our congregation. The Pastor will oversee and lead the Children’s Ministry (Kindergarten to 5th grade) and serve as the Leader for the AWANA ministry.

Duties:
- Organize, lead, and preach for Children’s Ministry worship services on Sundays
- Create, develop, and implement age-appropriate ministry curriculums
- Coordinate the Children’s Ministry events/activities with parents and volunteers
- Recruit and train ministry teachers and volunteers
- Serve as AWANA director to lead and preach on Friday evenings

Qualifications:
- Has graduated from an accredited seminary or currently attending Bachelor’s Degree
- Legally able to work in the US
- Previous experience working with children
- Has a passion to teach the Bible to the children, has a personal calling to nurture children spiritually and to guide them to grow in the knowledge of the Lord
- Has a Godly character and values to be a member of our pastoral staff
- Fluent in English and familiar with Korean culture and traditions (helpful, but not required)

Submit:

- Testimony (Family, background, ministry experiences)
- Two references (preferably from a supervising pastor or leader of church)

Ordained or licensed as a Pastor within a recognized Christian denomination
- Strong knowledge of biblical teachings and theology
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to deliver engaging sermons that resonate with diverse audiences
- Experience in crisis management, hospice care, bereavement support, and crisis intervention is preferred
- Passionate about serving others and providing spiritual guidance
- Ability to present complex theological concepts in an accessible manner
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
