Assistant Practice Manager

Agave Pediatrics, a leading multi-location pediatric healthcare clinic, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Practice Manager to help lead our team of over 80 employees. This role involves comprehensive management responsibilities across all five of our locations. This position reports to the Practice Manager with whom you will partner to ensure that our clinics run efficiently, staff are supported and motivated, and that we continue to deliver the exceptional care our young patients and their families have come to expect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations of the practice's multiple locations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
• Staff Management: Directly manage site supervisors and staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans in collaboration with senior leadership to enhance operational effectiveness and patient satisfaction.
• Financial Oversight: Manage the financial performance of the practice, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring the profitability of the clinics.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all locations comply with healthcare regulations and maintain high-quality standards for patient care.
• Patient Experience: Champion a patient-first approach, addressing patient concerns and striving for high patient satisfaction.
• HR Management: Apply HR knowledge in managing personnel issues, staff development, and maintaining legal compliance.
• Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between physicians, staff, and external partners to ensure clear and effective communication throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of Eclinical Works (ECW) EMR experience
• Minimum of 3 years of practice management experience in a multi-location medical practice.
• At least 1 year of experience in pediatrics.
• Experience managing a team of larger than 30 employees preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong focus on mentoring and motivation of staff.
• Proficient in financial management, including budgeting and forecasting.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Bilingual abilities are highly advantageous.
