Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: On-site – Hillsboro, OR

AGC Electronics America (AGCEA) manufactures high-purity Silicon Carbide (SiC) Ceramics materials and CMP Slurries for the semiconductor industry. We also serve as a distributor for other AGC Electronics Materials manufactured in Japan and elsewhere. We are headquartered in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA, and are a division of AGC Flat Glass North America.

About The Role
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 -2 years of related experience
- Basic MS Office computer skills
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction)
- Physical ability to perform the essential job functions
- Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal)
- Comfortable using both the metric and imperial measuring system
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to independently perform corrective and preventive maintenance, and other assigned tasks of varying complexity associated with the facility, structure, and assigned machinery and systems
Responsibilities:
- Performs maintenance and repair tasks of the facilities structure, equipment, and company grounds
- Performs routine tasks of varying complexity associated with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance under the guidance of leadership or more senior workers
- Performs routine maintenance work according to preventative maintenance and/or specification on assigned machinery and systems under the guidance of leadership or more senior workers
- Performs corrective maintenance of varying complexity
- Conducts daily rounds to monitor facility equipment, record sensor data, and identify and escalate found abnormalities to senior technicians
- May assist with moving furniture and equipment using hand trucks, forklifts, and other tools
- Keeps accurate and up-to-date records pertaining to repairs and observations
- Works from blueprints, drawings, and written procedures
- May assist or lead in the coordination of projects managing vendors performing work on site
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Able to manage time effectively
- Performs other duties related to the primary job responsibilities
