Job Summary

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for general sales administration for Cemstone Products Company, Cemstone Ready Mix Inc, Cemstone Concrete Materials, Cemstone Supply, and Dakota Aggregates.

Must have the ability to function in fast-paced team environment with sales representatives and managers to meet and exceed assigned goals for the overall customer experience and company reputation.

Professionally and effectively communicate by phone, prepare quotations and pricing documents, and perform other administrative duties as follows :

• Responsible for guaranteeing extraordinary customer experience by facilitating and processing customer requests and service concerns with professionalism to ensure a positive experience for both internal and external customers.
• Establish and run new customer Program.
• Prospect and develop new and existing customers through research, cold calling and account set up.
• Field customer calls and answer online inquiries.
• Download specifications for quote and project needs and coordinate with Engineering Services for timely feedback. Coordinate download efforts with Contractor Supply Proposal Development.
• Type, distribute, and maintain documentation associated with work to be quoted and received.
• Team with sales representatives to promote and increase number of bundled quotations getting sent.
• Create formal proposal documents to enhance overall impression of Cemstone on specified projects.
• Follow up on projects as requested.
• Update and maintain customer database and related sales lists at all times.
• Assist in various department coverage as requested by direct supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required; 2 year college or business school experience preferred. Knowledge of the concrete industry desired.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, basic Internet skills, etc. Must have the ability to learn and use new software systems quickly.
• ACI Certifications preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents and manuals; as well as write various reports and correspondences; speak effectively to customers and / or employees of the organization;

excellent spelling, grammar and phone skills.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, multi-task and carefully proof their own work.
• Occasional lifting up to 50lbs.
