Who We Are Looking for and What You Will Do
As a Software Engineer - Framework at our Hesston, KS facility, you will:
- Integrate modules and drivers to AUTOSAR classic framework
- Configure AUTOSAR classic for Real Time embedded controller family
- Design solutions with teams physically located in other countries
- Develop, debug, and maintain software
- Assist with system engineering to ensure a holistic system implementation
- Write robust code, including tests on different levels
- Apply automation techniques for automation of the whole software lifecycle process
- Work in an agile setup within a scrum team
What You Will Bring

- Strong ability to work successfully in multi-national teams, intercultural open and confident in appearance
- Engaging personality with demonstrated capability to reinforce and drive global strategy implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3 years' demonstrated proficiency in at least one programming language, C/C
- Knowledge of software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- English language fluency (written & verbal)
- Experience with typical Bus systems (CAN, Ethernet, 100baseTX / 100baseT1)
- Experience with Hardware Driver Development
- Experience with safety related embedded applications
- Experience with embedded hardware
A Plus If You Have
- Experience with AUTOSAR Classic is much desired.
- Experience and/or a strong interest in automotive, off-highway & agricultural machinery
- Demonstrated proficiency in multiple programming languages
- Experience with PREEvision
- Experience in agile collaboration and peer code review
- Experience in relevant software engineering tools (configuration mngmt, build process, de-buggers, etc.)
- Experience with ISO Safety Requirements
- Membership in SAE, INCOSE, IEEE, ASABE is desirable.
