About the Role:
Precision Planting is looking for a senior UI/UX designer to join the 20|20 software team. We have exciting plans to take the 20|20 platform to the next level in user interface design. In this role, you will be creating and refining our user interface on multiple platforms including in cab, mobile, and web applications. As a designer, you will play a critical role in determining how the latest technology can be used to help farmers, and own the feature development for several key customer-facing product features.
As a senior UI/UX designer you will:
Own user interface design for a complex series of products including in vehicle display, mobile applications, and web.
Create High fidelity prototypes of software user interfaces
Author design system architecture that is foundational to platform design
Audit applications to identify areas of improvement
Document design best practices and standards for use by the team
Work within a design team to define design features
Climb on agriculture equipment to get feedback on UI and experience our products first-hand
Must have the following experience:
5 years of experience in user software interface design
Experience using Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and/or Adobe Illustrator
Experience designing mobile applications
Experience designing web applications
Demonstrable practice of modern design principles, including system and component design
Bachelor's degree in UI, UX, graphic design, or similar
Portfolio available for review of previous software application design projects
Desired Experience:
Proficiency with Figma
Experience maintaining an existing design system
Experience interacting with developers and designing UI within programmatic boundaries
