AGCO is seeking a talented, passionate, and highly motivated professional to join the Sioux City Operations team as an Operations Manager in our Sioux City, IA warehouse. The Operations Manager is responsible for management of all functions of the Sioux City Operation. The ideal candidate will oversee the Warehouse, Distribution, Sales Support, Technical Support, and Customer Service as well as the sub-contract workforce who assemble bulk feed tanks.
Your Impact
- Direct and advise team at the Sioux City location that serve in the areas of customer service, order entry, system design engineering, technical support of electronic products, swine feeding and ventilation equipment, logistics coordination, material handling, CDL A truck drivers, inventory control and safety.
- Inventory Management including forecasting, turns, setting stock levels, overseeing order management, and monthly review of inventory metrics and sales.
- Local HR responsibilities such as approving weekly payroll, assisting staff with benefits enrollment, creating job descriptions, managing new hire processes, safety training and compliance, and performance evaluations.
- Facility and asset maintenance responsibilities such as managing preventative maintenance schedules, building and grounds maintenance, building repairs, and overseeing fleet vehicles and all equipment.
- Financial responsibilities such as bill paying, budgets, and general financial accountability
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in managing a team.
- Experience with inventory management
- Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives and deliver results with a sense of urgency
- Technical and mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various types of equipment.
- Experience in the swine or agriculture industry preferred.
