The AGCO Parts Division is currently looking for a Parts Catalog Analyst to join our Parts Book team in Hesston, KS. The Parts book team interacts with production, engineering, and service teams throughout many locations globally. Hesston is our largest manufacturing operation in North America for combines, balers, windrowers, and headers.
The Parts Catalog Analyst will be responsible for leading the development and publishing of parts books and illustrations for AGCO products. Additionally, the Parts Catalog Analyst will support growing the electronic publishing and electronic viewer systems.
What you will do
- Produce complete, clear and accurate parts catalogs to company standards for publication using AGCO Parts Book Authoring Tool (PBAT), CREO Illustrate, Isodraw, as well as other publishing tools.
- Creation of graphic representation per the Global Graphic Standard
- Support parts catalog publications for new production introduction (NPI) projects and milestones
- Manage service bill of materials (SBOM) within PTC Windchill engineering system
- ECN management to coordinate catalog updates for model year updates, manufacturing cut-in schedule and serial number breaks in production
What you will bring
- Bachelors' degree in Engineering, Graphic Arts, Drafting, Engineering Tech or Operations Management
- 1 years of experience creating operator manuals, parts book catalogs, and/or completing technical writing
- 1 years of experience with illustration preparation, including drafting, website development, and/or manipulating graphics to be easily viewed by an end user
A plus if you have
- Understanding of terms used in engineering including bill of materials structures, configurators, and modules
- OEM industry experience (agriculture, construction, off-road/highway, heavy duty, aerospace, automotive)
- Understanding of mechanical and technical concepts and practices within machinery, preferably agricultural
- Exposure working within MRP systems and engineering bill of materials (E- BOM)
- Experience with Pro-E, CREO, or other CAD modeling software
- Ability to read blueprints
