If you are, AGCO has just the opportunity just for you. AGCO is currently seeking a Platform Owner to join our team in G&P Digital Services. In this role you will be the key member for aligning the development and execution work tracks for the Digital Service product portfolio to meet the end customer (The Farmer) needs. The role of the Platform Owner (PlO) is one of the key roles within the agile team. The Platform Owner is responsible for creating and articulating the platform vision along with the Architecture review Board, helping to lead and facilitate the creation and prioritization of backlog items for the team. This will be your contribution fueling AGCO’s vision of feeding the world in close collaboration with the Product Manager and other key stakeholders.
Note: Platforms are built to serve products, so the Platform Owner’s customers are the Product Owners and developers
What You Will Do
- Represent the different Digital Product Solution needs as a single voice to the team by engaging with your users: the Product Owners, the Architect and the developers to build a backlog that represents the highest value for Products while optimizing the platform for reuse and the value for famers.
- Make sure backlog items you prioritize are agreed upon by product owners (scope and priority) and are properly understood by the core team members in charge of delivering them.
- Lead communication with technical teams and other managers to determine the business value of proposed features and products in comparison to anticipated costs.
- Facilitate communication and resolve impediments with key stakeholder on behalf of the team; Product Management, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and other key partner areas.
- Leading the facilitation of planning, product reviews, and backlog refinement activities with team/key stakeholders to maximize the value of the product.
- Inspect product progress and have authority to accept or reject work done according to the definition of ready and definition of done.
- In agreement with the product manager and the Architecture Review Board, follow up and manage the product through its entire lifecycle to ensure it meets customer expectations while optimizing its operating costs and generating proper income.

- Ability to work in a team setting and demonstrate a positive and collaborative attitude.
- A strong interest to understand our customers’ day to day operations and challenges.
- A solid understanding and experience in reliable Software Solution development and support, including Cloud and DevOps methodologies.
A Plus if You Have
- In-depth understanding of agricultural products and systems.
- Experience with Digital Services including different business models such as subscription, pay as you go, dynamic pricing
