Who We Are Looking For
AGCO is looking for a motivated Product Specialist! As the Product Specialist you will identify and develop new sales channels for all new Precision Livestock Farming (PLF) products, showing the value and impact of our new products to farmers.
What You Will Do
- Lead the market introduction across North America to our internal sales reps and our dealers including providing training to all identified farmers and integrators.
- Coordinate and successfully implement all sales and marketing activities within the region of responsibility.
- Measure and improve distributor performance by actively formulating business plans and strategies; setting and achieve sales budgets for the region.
- Analyze and accurately report competitor market intelligence.
- Manage, motivate and train dealers and their sales staff to ensure a profitable business model is achieved.
- Provide the interface between the AGCO, its dealers and the end-user for all new PLF products and applications.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Sales or equivalent experience.
- 6 years of experience in sales preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
A Plus If You Have
- Knowledge of PLF domain, climate control, and livestock (poultry, swine, egg) preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to be proactive and independent, taking initiative.
- Ability to organize work and effectively manage a variety of projects at the same time, while meeting deadlines.
