The Green Harvesting Software and Electronics Team at AGCO Hesston Operations has an immediate opening for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. As the leader in professional hay equipment, AGCO continues to provide advanced technologies to ensure farmers have easy access to precision control. The successful candidate will support these goals through development of embedded software on AGCO's Green Harvesting Platforms.

What you will do:

• In areas of design responsibility: participate in software architecture design, code review, troubleshoot and repair software problems

• Integrate and develop software using AUTOSAR

• Debugging and interpret vehicle bus data using CANoe, CANalyzer, CAPL, PCAN, CANtrace, or other similar tools.

• Create testing scenarios with test engineers

• Validate the integration of internal and external supplier's components into harvesting equipment

What you will bring:

• Ability to address and resolve issues in an objective, fact-based, professional fashion
• At least 5 years of proficiency in embedded software using C and C
• In depth knowledge ofISO 11783 and SAE J1939 CAN communications
• Experience with defining software and hardware interfaces
• Experience using a version control system

A plus if you have:

• Ability to inspire confidence in project sponsors, owners and participants

• At least 3 years concurrent experience in development on off road, heavy equipmentor agricultural equipment

• Previous development of ISOBUS VT, TC, and TIM libraries or systems
