Shuttle Bus Driver Responsibilities
- Drive bus or car to locations as needed. CDL or a Class B (passenger endorsement) was required to drive the bus. Must have Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Assist residents and prospects with their transportation needs, including escort service to their destinations, as the Transportation Policy outlines.
- Stay with and attend to the resident for the duration of the appointment, if required.
- Follow all laws and Community safety procedures when driving the Community vehicle(s).
- Maintain/clean the Community bus and/or car as required. Report any vehicle problems to the Supervisor.
- Monitor the health, safety, and well-being of residents, and follow procedures to report changes or concerns to staff. Provide input into resident service plans.
- Assist in other areas, including activities, front desk, and dining, positively promoting the company.
- Help with resident requests and complaints; refer to other staff when appropriate.
- Respond to medical, fire, or weather emergencies as directed.
- Take part in staff, resident, family, marketing, or Company activities and events as directed
- Strong English communication skills essential for seamless interaction with both residents and colleagues
