• Overview:An Event Manager works in support of a Business Development Director to create and cultivate client relationships. In this supportive roll, Event Managers assist a BDD to assess and satisfy client needs through developing creative and immersive programs from concept creation to execution and budget management. The event manager is responsible for maintaining the integrity of each program.

Job Description:Event Manager will be responsible for developing creative and innovative written proposals, design concepts and event management.Primary Responsibilities:

• Partner with Business Development Director (BDD) to develop creative concepts for specific client proposals to determine client needs including financial budgets
• Create proposals within assigned deadlines, including written copy and design concept elements to include writing, formatting and copy editing
• Research, develop and/or recommend new and innovative products and services
• Ensure accuracy of proposals for the business development team
• Attend creative, sales and client meetings
• Research pricing/availability for product and/or services
• Writes corporate proposals to include event/venue descriptions, pricing and upgrade options
• Build and maintain master event calendar
• Coordinate all logistics for product and services
• Secure product/services from outsourced vendors
• Develops customized Keynote presentation for client presentations
• Update Basecamp with client information for marketing and business development purposes
• Event coordination during program
• Follows up with clients post events to capture satisfaction feedback
• Manage staff responsible for event coordination activities
• Coordinate details of events such as conferences, trade shows, sales meetings, business meetings, employee appreciation events and virtual events
• Calculate budgets and adjust when necessary
• Book venues and negotiate fees
• Analyze event performance and prepare metrics presentation
• Define company brand through events
• Ensure staff is adequately prepared for event
• Provide Accounting Department with vendors’ invoices and/or contracts
• Travel may be required for execution of certain programs'

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
