Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Make Ready Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating and maintaining various components and systems, as well as a background in facilities maintenance. The Make Ready Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all properties are ready for occupancy and that all systems are functioning properly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical systems to take on a leadership role and demonstrate their ability to supervise and manage a team.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and install various components and systems, such as drywall, flooring, and electrical systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of all properties to identify any maintenance or repair issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.
- Use logic controllers and other specialized tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Paint and finish surfaces to a high standard.
- Ensure that all properties are clean and free of debris before occupancy.
- Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Use an ohmmeter to test electrical circuits and diagnose issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and ensure that all properties are in compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabricating and maintaining various components and systems.
- Strong background in facilities maintenance and leadership.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and the use of logic controllers.
- Experience with residential painting and finishing techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with supervising and managing a team of maintenance technicians.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Ability to use an ohmmeter to test electrical circuits and diagnose issues.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
