Garrison Jenkins and Jeff Keefauver are local first responders who started a small business in 2018, and when the opportunity to purchase Aggieland Lighting presented itself, they jumped on it. To help with the interior design and operations management, Becca Keefauver ‘10 is co-owner and operator. They know how to take care of customers, and are proud of the work they have done and continue to do in the BCS community.

We are looking for a personable and driven individual who loves interacting with new customers as well as one who is organized and detail oriented to ensure the best experience for customers. You will walk clients through the full sales cycle from lighting and furniture selections to ordering products to receiving inventory for preparation of delivery.

• Identify and build working relationships with customers and prospects.
• Be able to hold selection meetings with customers to select the lighting for their projects.
• Handle builder account openings and fully execute the sales cycle.
• Welcome walk-in retail customers and fully execute the sales cycle.
• Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
• Increase share of existing accounts’ spend.
• Maintain the highest level of personal knowledge on products offered, the market dynamics and competition.
• Maintain all meeting notes in the CRM tool. Aggieland Lighting and Design uses Windward. Prior experience with Windward not required.
• Quickly learn back-end programs such as Lights America and Windward.
• After selections are confirmed, the representative must create an invoice, special order any out of stock product, and maintain the communications with the clients on arrival dates of all merchandise.
• Communicate with manufacturers to ensure accurate product information.
• Answer customer calls with professionalism.
• Take phone messages and deliver to the appropriate employee.
• Proficiency in email communications and Google Suite
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills- Able to perform in a detail oriented environment with efficiency and accuracy

• Flexibility to help out other team members when needed
• Maintain the cleanliness of the showroom
• Frequently lift and/or move items over 20lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
