Position Description:
As an IT Coordinator you will play a crucial role in coordinating and leading various aspects of our IT operations. This role is a balance of technical knowledge, prioritizing and managing projects and scope with department leaders, and coordinating IT resources to get the work completed.
Primary Objectives:
Coordinate IT related work both directly and utilizing external resources
Be the liaison between end users and programmers
Be the first line of technical support including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software
Responsibilities:
Ensure IT projects are successfully completed correctly, on time, and within budget.
Participates in the sourcing, installation, and support of IT equipmentincluding computers, printers, routers, and phones
Gather end user requirements for new software features and functions and create clear statement of work documents for programmers
Provide technical support for end users related to computer systems, software, and hardware
Manage and track IT assets and budgets
Organize, schedule and lead meetings to achieve IT goals
Regularly communicate projects status and completion to end users, managers, and company leadership group.
Coordinate and lead security, resilience, and compliance tasks
Assist in creating future state roadmaps for IT
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; AND one to three (1-3) years of IT work experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Proven experience in IT coordination, project management, budgeting, and compliance management
Understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, hardware and software
Advanced understanding of Microsoft operating systems and software, networking switches, and data networks, IP telecommunications systems, and audio/visual systems and equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in creating and managing budgets
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently as needed; Working without close supervision in standard work situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at a time
Proficient with or able to quickly learn the software and applications used in the organization
