Job Title: Warehouse- Compounder
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or chemical processing environment
- Basic math skills for accurate weighing and measuring of materials
- Ability to follow written instructions and batch sheets
- Understanding of proper handling and safety protocols for working with chemicals
Responsibilities:
- Read batch sheets to blend chemical compounds such as epoxy, urethane, and silicone formulations
- Operate large and small mixers and packaging equipment
- Handle heavy drums and bags of raw materials
- Accurately measure and weigh raw materials according to batch formulations
- Utilize mixing equipment to combine ingredients and create compounds
- Conduct quality checks throughout the compounding process
- Maintain detailed records of production activities
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents
- Perform routine maintenance on compounding equipment
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the compounding process
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in chemical processing or related field
- Knowledge of basic chemistry principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
