What you will do

• Analyze business requirements and design solutions to meet those requirements
  
• Participate in reviews of system architecture, code, and design documents
  
• Build backend code for financial processes from scratch and modify existing core applications using Java and Spring
  
• Be the owner of the built components in production, performing needed support, troubleshooting and monitoring
  

Must haves

• 3 years of professional experience using Java and Spring
  
• Databases: Mongo, Postgres
  
• Microservices and REST/API based development expertise
  
• Ability to work as part of a Scrum team
  
• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or other technical field, or equivalent experience.
  
• Experience developing applications with complex business logic.
  

Nice to haves

• Control-M or similar orchestration platform
  
• Drools or similar Business Rules Management System
  
• Experience tuning and maximizing performance for high volume
  
• Experience with Cloud Technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry
  
• Asset Management / Investments / FinTech experience
  
• Working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOps principles.
