Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated IT professional to join the IT Site Support team in Frederick, CO. Your role is to drive excellence in IT Site Support and to increase overall productivity, business continuity, and user satisfaction.
A primary responsibility is to provide a high level of hands-on support for IT services to help minimize business disruptions.
You will administer critical manufacturing and QC systems, provide support to users, and work on IT technology project implementations in a GMP regulated environment.

System Administration - Local IT Infrastructure :
- Administer, maintain, and support complex systems in the local IT Infrastructure (local servers, backups, databases, Manufacturing and QC environments) and coordinate activities with Agilent IT services and support teams.
- Provide system administration services including user account management, Data Integrity setup, database administration.
- Perform Project Manager responsibilities for local projects. Lead or participate in local and global system implementation projects and introduction of new technologies.
- Lead or participate in design and delivery of IT processes requiring coordination with internal and external partners.
- Partner with and provide local assistance to other IT functions that do not have site presence.
- Ensure that systems are performing efficiently and with high availability.
Onsite Support :
- Provide support to mission critical applications to restore service disruptions quickly.
- Provide first and second level support to local and remote users for urgent local issues and escalations. Involve other support organizations and vendors as needed.
- Provide consulting and assistance to users on IT systems and processes; deliver user training.
- Develop work instructions to improve support activities.
- Propose process enhancements to improve quality of service, prevent future problems, and deliver a positive experience to employees.
- Ensure that tickets are properly documented and communicated.
- Develop user communications, user guides, and training programs.
- Secondary responsibility : Provide PC services including PC setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Compliance :
- Manage compliance activities related to IT Infrastructure projects in a GMP regulated environment and ensure compliance to Agilent IT policies and procedures.
- Contribute to Change Control requests and maintain compliance documentation for changes to IT systems.
- Participate in Audits as needed.
You may be required to work after regular business hours and / or on weekends and Holidays for critical maintenance and system implementation projects when needed and be available for off-hours on-call rotations.
May require lifting and or moving laptops, desktop PC's, monitors with or without assistance as needed.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience and certifications
- 4 years relevant experience in IS Applications / Technology and IT technologies
- 2 years in a GMP regulated environment
- Working knowledge of GDP and CFR 21 part 11 regulations is helpful
- Experience supporting manufacturing and / or quality control systems (PCS GE SCADA iFix, BAS Siemens Insight or Desigo, QC Agilent OpenLab) is helpful

$89,680.00-$140,125.00
