Description
This is an hourly paid position, with a set work schedule and expected hours of 30-40 per week. The expected work week is a of 30 hours, which we anticipate being nearer to or at 40 hours due to workload requirements with overtime eligibility for weekly hours over 40. Conversion from hourly to salaried position is a possibility based on employee performance and company growth. This position is primarily focused on daily administration of defined benefit pension plans for our growing client base. The right candidate will be coachable and adaptable and will have exceptional administrative and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, a focus on client and participant satisfaction, a desire to speak directly with participants, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will be dynamic and agile, with the ability to change direction multiple times daily. They must also have an entrepreneurial spirit and a thirst for learning new areas and developing new skills.
Responsibilities include:
Location: Ability to work out of our offices in Waltham, MA; Highlands Ranch, CO; or New York, NY preferred. Remote candidates in continental US also considered.
Requirements
Defined benefit pension administration and/or call center experience preferred but not required (full training will be provided on all tasks and areas of work). High school diploma or equivalent, with advanced education preferred. Candidate must have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, be adaptable to change, demonstrate a desire to expand knowledge, be self-motivated, have an innovative spirit, possess the ability to self-manage, and be able to work in a small team environment. Candidate will be highly proficient with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications with the ability to quickly learn a host of other in-house software.
