Field Service Representative

The Service Representative - Surgical Equipment Repair will drive the operational delivery of Surgical Equipment Repair to a set account base. These services include, but are not limited to onsite instrument, rigid endoscope, flexible endoscope, power, video and ancillary surgical device repairs. The ORS' job function also encompasses additional elements of customer service and service delivery. Travel may be required within the region. The position is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of SER offerings that will generate growth in the Company.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to work within a team.
• Utilize skill and training to properly manage key accounts and grow the SER repair business.
• Establish and maintain appropriate levels of service delivery.
• Maintain relationships within facilities to ensure clear communications and cooperation.
• Create opportunities and identify weaknesses to decrease expenditures.
• Ensure that all paperwork i.e. Work Orders, Payroll, Inventory is done accurately and submitted properly.
• All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience
• Healthcare/Medical Device industry desired. SPD, OR and/or related sales experience (Preferred)
• 1-3 years of experience (Preferred).
• 20/20 vision or corrected 20/20 vision.
• Type at least 40 WPM.

• Navigation of hospital environment endoscopy
• Surgical equipment identification
• Ability to cultivate and retain customer relationship.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Microsoft word, Excel, AS400.
• 10 Key.
• Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Office 365.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadline.
• Possess good interpersonal skills: ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Facilitates work production results by incorporating exceptional planning and organizational skills.
• Applies analytical skills to pre-established work processes that may require preparation of reports or documents.
• Good communication and critical thinking skills.
• Great attendance and punctuality required.
• Promotes a philosophy that is customer driven with excellent service results.
• Sit, stand, and bend up to 8 hours.
• Lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
