Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of machinery. Your attention to detail and mechanical knowledge will be crucial in ensuring the production process runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for operation and maintenance of the following machines while ensuring compliance of IPC-610 and customer requirements:
· ECO 400S Wave-Solder Machine (lead free)
· Future Wave-Solder Machine (lead)
· Universal Axial Insertion Machine
· Universal DIP Inserter
· Westkleen Triton In-Line Wash
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator in an electronics manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge of machine tooling and mechanical operations
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Strong mathematical skills for performing basic calculations
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Proficiency in using hand tools for machine setup and maintenance
