The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and account personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for all financial activity for the company.
· Generated month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial statements.
· Generate all month-end sales reporting.
· Prepare all budgets and perform monthly variance analysis
· Work with staff to track and optimize costs
· Prepare all reports and filings for Corporate.
· Prepare all quarterly and year-end tax reports and filings.
· Reconcile all General Ledger accounts
· Prepare all Journal Entries.
· Resolve all Client and Vendor disputes.
· Perform all Accounts Receivable activities including Collections.
· Cash Management
· Asset Management
· Prepare Depreciation Schedules
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· BS/MS degree preferably in Accounting, Finance or Business Management
· 3 years of related experience, preferably in pharmaceutical industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 3 years of QuickBooks experience
· Proficient with common PC based applications and specifically in the use of MS Office
· Has high-level user skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
· Organization, communication and analytical skills
· Ability to understand and effectively communicate technical and business information, both oral and written to others, including co-workers, supervisors, subordinates, clients, and vendors
· Proficient mathematical skills, including algebraic functions, statistics (mean, median, standard deviation, variance, probability), basic geometry (area, volume calculations), and scientific calculators
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
· Ability to work varied and extended hours/days, as business dictates
