Project Engineer
POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Engineer’s primary responsibility is to work directly with customers and internal teams on product development and enhancements to ensure the customers’ expectations for cost, schedule, and quality are met.

• Manage and support product development through project management, tooling procurement, and product validation testing.
• Manage quoting process for new products, including product and process evaluation, tooling concepts, and quote compilation.
• Provide technical support to external customers on projects to optimize design for manufacturability, identify cost improvement ideas and ensure overall project success.
• Identify, research, and develop new and emerging technologies.
• Support cost reduction and continuous improvement opportunities at all levels of the production process and participate in lean events.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical environment requires the employee to work in a manufacturing and office environment. The employee must have the ability to wear personal protective equipment. Occasional travel may be required.
