Real Estate Appraiser

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Real Estate Appraiser to join our team. As a Real Estate Appraiser, you will be responsible for assessing the value of residential and commercial properties using various appraisal methods. This is a critical role that requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of real estate markets, and the ability to provide accurate and unbiased property valuations.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to gather relevant information

- Collect and analyze data on comparable properties, market trends, and economic factors

- Utilize GIS (Geographic Information System) technology to assist in property analysis

- Perform financial analysis to determine property values and potential income generation

- Prepare detailed appraisal reports that comply with industry standards and regulations

- Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal regulations related to real estate appraisals

- Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to address questions or concerns

- Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings, if required

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Real Estate Appraiser

- Strong knowledge of real estate appraisal principles, techniques, and methodologies

- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) program guidelines is a plus

- Proficient in financial analysis and report writing for accurate valuation assessments

- Strong mathematical skills for data analysis and calculations

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Strong communication skills to effectively convey appraisal findings to clients

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 10 – 50 per week
