AGRILAND FS is looking for a strong leadership and business focused Operations Manager. This individual will direct all operations and coordinates distribution of products and services for the assigned locations. This individual supervises the location manager team for improved efficiencies in delivering the products and services to our customers to assure the financial performance and profitable growth consistent with the policies and practices of AGRILAND FS.

Core Responsibilities
- Leads locations, Location Managers and customer service team members.
- Manages operations that lead to excellent customer satisfaction while maximizing efficiencies, managing distribution cost and inventory to achieve company financial objectives.
- Works closely with location managers to best manage expenses for the location.
- Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of all products and services. (Energy, Agronomy and Seed).
- Works with location managers to ensure that all location facilities are secure according to company guidelines.
- Conducts performance appraisals and recommends compensation and disciplinary actions for personnel along with regular coaching and counseling of Location Manager.
- Provides operational and technical information for Location Managers and customer service teams.
- Works directly with the location managers, agronomist and location administrator to promote accurate Agriland FS billing programs Promotes good communication through location team meetings.
- Identifies and implements best practices which lead to strong financial performance and outstanding customer service.
- Provides proactive leadership for training and developmental plans that continue to improve operations and customer service for all locations.
- Directs safety and regulatory plans at all locations.
- Leads development and implementation of company equipment and facility maintenance programs.
- Bachelors degree in Business, or 8-10 years of equivalent experience
- Experience or strong understanding of Ag Retail preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent business skills with experience in CTO, budgeting and inventory.
- Mechanical aptitude with excellent problem solving skills
- Very good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Must have valid driver's license with the ability to travel as needed
- Requires Class A CDL with endorsements
- Must maintain Custom Applicator License
- Must be able to lift a minimum of sixty pounds and be able to position that product in any area required or where the patron or supervisor requests
- Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, steps, walk on platforms at required heights to perform duties as required
- Must be able to get in and out of, as well as operate, all required vehicles and equipment
