The Intake Operator position, under the direction of a Trainer learns to receive milk from milk haulers and truckers, ensuring quality of milk through samples, testing and proper sanitation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Night Shift 7PM - 7AM 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule
- Load whey/cream trucks.
- Mix powder for production.
- Wash tanks and silos
- Wash RO/POL.
- Wash Whey Separator.
- Mix NFDM
- Mix WPC
- CIP lines.
- Complete tasks on Master Sanitation Schedule.
- Assist in training new employees as directed by Supervisor.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend meetings as directed.
- Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Safety Protocol
- Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
- Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
- Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications:
Education Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience Required:
- No experience required; in-house training provided.

- Follow one- or two-step verbal instructions; read and follow written instructions; perform routine and repetitive tasks and carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or verbal instructions.
- Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, MSDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP).
