As a seasonal scale operator, you will be responsible for accurately operating the grain scale for the accounting office and provide outstanding customer service to our producers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide outstanding customer service skills at all times when greeting and servicing customers.
- Manage inbound and outbound grain shipments for customers coming across the truck scale.
- Perform required record keeping for trucking weighing and accurate grading activities.
- Coordination of delivery numbers, daily inputs, and verification of accuracy.
- Operates on-scale interface system and transfer of data.
- Manage inbound grain shipments including the coordination of delivery numbers, input of scale tickets daily and verification of accuracy. In on-scale interface system, manage transfer of data.
- Respond to customer requests at counter and over phone including but not limited to the following areas:, bids, grain contracting, grain offers, customer history, grain settlements, statements, sales, questions, etc.
- Responds to customer inquiries at the counter.
- Backups other functions within the office as requested.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Word and Excel, 10-key adding machine, fax machine, copier and telephone.
- Ability to work Overtime as required.
Other Qualifications:
- Must be a detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
